An Inspiring Journey in Music

Born blind in Henryville, Indiana, Michael Cleveland picked up the fiddle at age four, displaying incredible talent from the start. His early years were filled with performances at local concerts and contests, where he quickly gained recognition for his exceptional abilities. Despite his visual impairment, Cleveland’s vision for music has always been sharp and clear, leading him to a career adorned with accolades and admiration.

A Master of the Strings

Michael Cleveland is a musical phenomenon. He’s a Grammy Award winner, a 12-time International Bluegrass Music Association’s (IBMA) Fiddler of the Year, and in 2022, he became a National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) National Heritage Fellow. His album “Tall Fiddler” was an instant classic and won him fans worldwide and the recognition of his peers and contemporaries.

Collaborations with the Greats

Michael Cleveland’s ability to blend his fiddle with the distinct styles of some of bluegrass and country’s finest musicians speaks volumes about his versatility and esteem in the music world.

He has performed alongside banjo-revolutionary BĂ©la Fleck, and country legend Vince Gill. He jams with bluegrass phenom Billy Strings and guitar virtuoso Tommy Emmanuel in musical conversations that are as soulful as they are face-melting.
