Onstage Ogden invites students and teachers from across the Greater Ogden area to attend special Student Matinees throughout the school year. These performances by national and international artists represent a variety of arts disciplines and are specifically designed for young audiences.

Repertory Dance Theatre
JOURNEY…through the history of American dance

JOURNEY spans the history of the development of American modern dance including Duncan and Denishawn, the Founders, the Avant Garde through the post-modern and contemporary choreographers of the 21st century. Samples of RDT prestigious historic repertory linked with narration and multi-media to give audiences greater understanding and appreciation of the history of modern dance and provide information which links the social and cultural history influencing the creation of masterful work by America’s leading choreographers.

The Queen’s Cartoonists
Wednesday, March 1 at 10:00am; Peery’s Egyptian Theater

Is it possible to create jazz music that appeals to everyone? With The Queen’s Cartoonists, it is. These jazz masters play all the madcap music from classic and contemporary cartoons synchronized to video projections of the original animation, leading audiences on a wild musical ride of multi-instrumental mayhem and comedy.

Ballet West II: Snow White
Friday, May 5 at 10:00am; Browning Center at WSU

Snow White features all of the classic elements of the original Grimm Brothers fairy tale: the magic mirror, poisoned apple, and mysterious dwarves that will keep the entire family on the edge of their seats! Presented in just over an hour with guided narration.

Important Information

Prices: Prices for all shows are $7/person, including students, teachers and chaperones. An early payment discount of $2 off per ticket ($5/person) is available by registering at least four weeks in advance of the performance, at least one week before the final payment deadline.

Payment: We do not require a deposit at the time of registration. Final attendance numbers and payment are due no later than three weeks before the performance. An early payment discount is available if we receive your payment by 5pm on the dates announced as the “early payment” deadline. If you are sending a check, the check should be postmarked by this date. We will send multiple payment reminders via email to remind you of these dates. We accept all major credit cards. Make checks payable to Onstage Ogden.

Refunds/Cancelations: Refunds cannot be given two weeks before the show date.

Scholarships: A limited number of scholarships are available for low income students. If you need scholarships, please indicate the amount needed in the other/comments box.
