LEGACY GIVING

Consider including Onstage Ogden as a beneficiary of your estate. By leaving a legacy gift, you provide future generations of Utahns an opportunity to enjoy exceptional live performances.

Your gift may be made to the Onstage Ogden Foundation Endowment Fund, ensuring you leave an impact in perpetuity. The Foundation’s sole purpose is to benefit and support Onstage Ogden. We advise donors to obtain independent legal counsel and tax counsel prior to making any gift or executing any documents.

If you have already included Onstage Ogden in your will, estate plan, or beneficiary arrangement, please let us know by calling Sarah Bailey at sarah@onstageogden.org. We feel strongly about expressing our gratitude in ways that align with your wishes.

Leaving a legacy to Onstage Ogden may come in many forms:

  • Wills and Bequests
  • Life Insurance and Retirement Assets
  • Appreciated Stock
  • Living Trusts
  • Appreciated Property

If you are in the stages of creating a plan, please use the following language in your will or trust:

“I give, devise, and bequeath to Onstage Ogden, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization (87-0288156), 638 26th St. Ogden, UT, 84401, the sum of $_______ or ______ % percentage (of cash, real or personal property herein described) to be used for the general purpose of Onstage Ogden at the discretion of the Onstage Ogden Foundation Board in advancing Onstage Ogden’s purpose.”

DONOR ADVISED FUNDS (DAFS)

Onstage Ogden gratefully accepting donations made through a DAF account, or Donor Advised Funds. It’s a great way to accomplish your philanthropic goals and easily manage your charitable giving. Giving through a DAF, which is like a charitable savings account, gives you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often money is granted to Onstage Ogden. You can recommend a grant or recurring grants now to make an immediate impact or use your fund as a tool for future charitable gifts.

You can also create a lasting legacy by naming Onstage Ogden the beneficiary of the entire account or a percentage of the fund. With a percentage, you can create a family legacy of giving by naming your loved ones as your successor to continue recommending grants to charitable organizations. Contact your fund administrator for a beneficiary form.

Please contact us at 801.612.0757 if you have any questions about using your Donor Advised Fund to make contributions. Any information provided by Onstage Ogden is not intended as tax, legal, or financial advice. Onstage Ogden urges you to contact your financial advisor or Donor Advised Fund representative for more information.
