The Prelude Student Showcase (formerly the Youth Benefit Concert) provides young, aspiring musicians from our community with an opportunity to audition and perform in front of a larger audience. Students 8-17 in Northern Utah are invited to participate in auditions and masterclasses with a professional artist. The students will perform solo pieces in the first half of the concert, and the Merz Trio will perform in the second.

Phoebe Broadbent, voice (Homeschool)
Clara Davis, violin (Homeschool)
Belle Edge, flute (Summit Academy Independence)
Jaden Fujino, piano (Layton Christian Academy)
Anna Lyman, piano (Adele C. Young Intermediate)
Grace Rasmussen, flute (St. Joseph’s Catholic High School)
Damien Regalado, trombone (DaVinci Academy)
Henry Turner, piano (North Ogden Junior High School)

 

Duration: Approximately 120 minutes including a 10 minute intermission
