Sarah got her start in community arts as a volunteer coach with Elevate Theatre Company at Tanner Dance, a program for adults with disabilities, where she saw what the arts could do for people beyond performing. She earned her BFA in theatre from Utah State University, volunteered her time with Aspire Performance Academy of the Arts and the American West Heritage Center, and went on to complete her MA in Arts Administration at Southern Utah University. As Onstage Ogden’s Development Coordinator, she works with the people who support ONOG to reach the community and audiences they care about. Her job starts long before the concert does, and seeing an audience connect with the artists and each other is why she does it. When she’s not at work, she’s usually tending her houseplants or writing poetry, with her cat Lou supervising.
