Welcome to Guinea, West Africa.
Inspired by village life in his homeland, Cirque Kalabanté founder Yamoussa Bangoura transports you to a bustling marketplace bursting with vibrant color, live music, and spectacular circus talent.
Named after the Susu word for “child go-getter, ambitious, with exceptional courage,” Cirque Kalabanté pulses with energy, blending breathtaking acrobatics with explosive dance and captivating music played on traditional West African instruments like the djembe and kora (a 21-string instrument).
Watch in awe as acrobats and tumblers flip, jump, and soar across the stage propelled by rhythmic beats of Afro-jazz, mesmerizing audiences and delighting the artists themselves. Take a trip to African soil with Cirque Kalabanté and return home feeling invigorated and alive.
