When you hear the Fisk University Jubilee Singers®, you can’t help but be moved.  One of America’s foremost a cappella ensembles, they’ve served as the premier performers of the Negro Spiritual for over 150 years. First organized in 1871 to tour the country raising funds for Nashville’s Fisk University (the first to offer a liberal arts education to students “irrespective of color”), the group continues the tradition of preserving this unique music and sharing its rich culture worldwide.

The renowned group has broken racial barriers, performed for kings and queens of Europe and U.S. presidents, and earned a GRAMMY® award and the National Medal of Arts, America’s highest honor for artists. Now the Fisk Jubilee Singers bring their storied heritage and contemporary vitality to Ogden for a powerful evening that will lift bowed heads, soothe aching hearts, and stir your soul.
